Top-notch fish and chips! I absolutely love Mother Hubbard’s — their food is always fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The batter on the fish is light and crispy, and the chips are just amazing — hot, thick, and full of flavour. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome every time you walk in. You can really tell they care about quality and customers. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving proper fish and chips. Highly recommended!

Absolutely great fish shop, in the top 2 best I've had in London and up there with the Golden Chippy in Greenwich and much better than even other Mother Hubbards! Lovely taste of fish and chips and everything's fresh and has great great flavour. The sides with things like the fish bites and chicken burger and nuggets were great too, not to mention the desserts which were also fantastic especially the Sticky Toffee Pudding! Great taste all around and I'll be visiting from Newham again and again as the taste and size of of the fish is genuinely world class! Great to visit with family too. Highly Recommend!

Absolutely delicious fish and chips from mother Hubbard’s Streatham. I got the special fish (which was gigantic by the way!! ) with chips and curry sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection. A thick piece of haddock fish and some of the flakiest fish I've ever eaten. Each morsel of fish just broke off effortlessly. The batter was nice and crispy and not at all greasy. The chips were fantastic and made fresh to order. I ordered the standard curry sauce, which was nice, however when the kind gentleman brought over the spicy curry sauce to try, I was blown away. The standard curry sauce tasted nice, however the spicy curry sauce had a really nice depth of flavour and complimented the fish and chips very well. I also got a sausage which was again, very tasty. Everything here is halal. For those interested, I think the owner mentioned he would be getting hmc certificated very soon. The service is fantastic. The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly and there is plenty of seating available. I would highly recommend checking this place out. This was honestly the best fish and chips I've had and will be paying a visit very soon with friends and family.
